Envelop
Original Composition
For 6 Sansula kalimbas (ca. 20 min)
‘Envelop’ for Six Sansula Kalimbas is a composition of minimalist music. Players are surrounding the audience, who are sitting or lying comfortably in pillows and pouffes. Through slow development and careful exploration of the special characteristics of the Sansula Kalimba, the piece creates a moment of deep, focused, listening.
Premiere: Lange Nacht ZHdK, Zürich, CH
